An E-Zone is a specific appointed area within the Netherlands Antilles in which international trade and trade support services, among other things, may be performed whether or not supported by electronic communication and information equipment (e-commerce). E-Zone companies benefit from a very favorable tax regime in the Netherlands Antilles with respect to corporate income tax (currently at a rate of 2%), custom duties, turnover tax and expatriate tax facilities, as long as they are actually located in and officially admitted to an E-zone. |
