Gideon was born in The Netherlands in 1977 and graduated in 2001 at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands as a tax lawyer. Gideon has worked as a tax lawyer in the Netherlands and Aruba before he moved to Curacao in 2008. Since 2009, he has worked in the financial services industry of Curaçao, first as the Commercial Director with Orangefield Trust, and currently as Director Europe for Amicorp Curacao B.V. As per April 2011, Gideon joined the CIFA Board.
