Steve started as junior tax adviser in 1987 at Arthur Andersen in Amsterdam. In 1993 he started at Coopers & Lybrand in the Netherlands Antilles and as of 1998 he is a Tax partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. His expertise involves the international and national fiscal structuring for corporations and individuals. Responsible for the tax practices on Curacao, Aruba, St. Maarten and Bonaire.
Steve was Chairman of the Committee for improvement of the infrastructure of Curacao for e-commerce (November 1999: “eCuraçao: the eCommerce framework for the next millennium”), co-author of the publication “The New Fiscal Framework for the Netherlands Antilles” (Kluwer 2002) and speaker at various seminars on fiscal developments in the Netherlands Antilles and fiscal structuring possibilities through the Netherlands Antilles.
From 1999 to 2002 Steve has been treasurer for the Netherlands Antilles Law Society, between 2003 and 2005 he was President of the Netherlands Antilles Society of tax advisers and from 2005 until 2009 he was Vice President of CIFA. |
